Privacy policy
This site is the collectible-card rewards site for VoteWiser. It is small, has no ads, no analytics trackers, and sells nothing about you to anyone. This page says exactly what we keep and why, in plain language.
What we collect
When you create an account
- Your username — the name you choose. It is public: it appears on your collection page, the leaderboard, trophy pages, and above your character in the towns.
- Your email address — used only for account recovery and to keep one account per address. It is held by our login service (see below); the site itself stores only a one-way hash of it. It is never shown to anyone.
- A password, if you sign up with one — stored hashed by the login service. We never see it.
If you sign in with Google
Google tells our login service your email address, your name, and a Google account identifier. We use the email address the same way as above and the identifier to recognise you next time. We do not use your Google name. On first sign-in you choose a username instead, and your collection is created under that name. Google, in turn, learns that you signed in to VoteWiser.Win; Google's own privacy policy governs what it does with that.
As you play
- Your cards, points, trophies and awards — what you've collected and when. Your collection is public on your collection page.
- Your tank id — a short code that lets you enter the towns (Aquarium, Ghost Town, Racetrak, Halls of Congress) as yourself. When you play a town, the town learns your tank id and username so it can hand out cards to you.
- Your Twitch login, only if you link it — so guesses you make in stream chat can award cards to your collection. Stream games read the public Twitch chat; a message that looks like a guess is kept alongside the Twitch login that sent it.
- Group membership, referral codes, daily-login streaks and reward timestamps — the bookkeeping that makes rewards work and stops them being claimed twice.
What we do not collect
We do not store your IP address, device or browser details, location, or browsing history. We do not run advertising or analytics scripts. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, sees request metadata (including IP addresses) in the ordinary course of serving and protecting the site, under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
We set only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. None are used for tracking.
sss_session— keeps you signed in for 30 days.sss_oidc,sss_pending,sss_claim— short-lived (10–30 minutes) helpers for signing in and for collecting a card from a link.
Who else is involved
- Our login service — a Zitadel identity server that we run ourselves. It holds your email, password hash, and Google link if you have one.
- Google — only if you choose "Sign in with Google".
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and stores its data.
- ncompli.com — serves the card artwork and runs the towns. Your browser fetches images from it, and the towns receive your tank id when you play.
- Twitch and Bluesky — stream games read public Twitch chat; some cards are collected from links in VoteWiser's Bluesky posts. We receive nothing from either beyond what you do there in public.
What's public
Your username, your cards and their levels, your trophies, your leaderboard position, and your group (if you join one). Nothing else — never your email, your Google name, or your Twitch login.
Your choices
- Delete your account — email us and we'll remove your collection and your login completely. It is gone for good; we keep a short-lived backup only long enough to recover from mistakes.
- Unlink Twitch or Google — email us; we'll remove the link.
- Sign out everywhere — signing out ends your current session; ask us to end all of them.
Children
VoteWiser.Win is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions, deletion requests, anything else: info@votewiser.com. See also the terms of service.
